Norton Financial Corporation Plc has been restructured to allow it to implement the OECD and the COBAC Corporate Governance frameworks for financial institutions, to realign the organization to best address the emerging priorities in accepting deposit and provision of loan to local community, and to strengthen our focus on delivering quality outcomes for our clients. The structure will help us meet these objectives within a new governance framework that will allow us to maintain an appropriate balance between conformance with our legislative and other obligations, while ensuring that our performance is effectively managed, monitored and reported. The new Governance, Regulation and Risk Directorate consolidates the organisation’s internal controls and external accountabilities through the integration of governance functions and compliance obligations with those of risk management and audit. The new Measurement, Monitoring and Reporting Directorate will strengthen Norton Financial Corporation Plc’s capacity to measure, monitor and report on its performance. A supervision and Strategic Relations Unit will be responsible and accountable for coordinating Norton Financial Corporation Plc’s strategic relations. These functions are key elements of good governance. In support of this we will regularly review the structure, functions and responsibilities of executive groups and committees; develop appropriate terms of reference for committee operations; and ensure adequate control, monitoring and review of committees and senior management.
